Is Hounds & Waves Right For My Dog?
Can puppies swim?
Absolutely. Private sessions allow puppies to discover the water at their own pace while building confidence through positive experiences.
My dog has never swum before.
That's completely normal. Many of our visitors are first-time swimmers, and our relaxed private sessions allow them to explore the water without pressure.
My dog is nervous around other dogs.
Every session is completely private, meaning there are no unfamiliar dogs sharing the pool or your experience.
Can I get in the pool with my dog?
Yes. Hounds & Waves is all about spending quality time together, and owners are welcome to join their dog in the water.
How many dogs can I bring?
Each session includes one dog, with up to two additional dogs welcome for just £5 per dog, allowing a maximum of three dogs per session.
Is it suitable for older dogs?
Yes. Swimming offers gentle, low-impact exercise that's enjoyable for dogs of all ages while reducing stress on joints.
